How it works
What to expect
Every session ends with something practical you can do that week.
Book a time
Choose online, phone or in person. There's no right way to start.
A short intake
We send a brief form and explain how confidentiality works before you begin.
Your first session
Tell us as much or as little as feels comfortable. We agree together what you want from counselling.
Regular sessions
We meet regularly and review progress with you, so you always know where things stand.
“For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.”
Qur'an, Ash-Sharh 94:5–6 (Saheeh International)
Is counselling confidential?
Yes. What you share stays private, with a small number of safeguarding exceptions that we explain before you start. Read our confidentiality and safeguarding page for details.
Do I have to talk about religion?
No. Your faith is part of the conversation only when you want it to be. Many people find it helpful to speak with someone who understands it without needing it explained.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on what you bring. We review progress together regularly, and you can pause or stop at any time.
Can I choose a male or female counsellor?
Yes. Tell us your preference when you book and we will do our best to arrange it.
Is this an emergency service?
No. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent medical help call NHS 111. Samaritans are available 24/7 on 116 123.
Sincere Naseeha mentoring and content offer guidance and support. They are not a substitute for professional counselling, therapy, medical care or emergency services.
