Confidentiality and safeguarding
Trust is the foundation of our work
What you share with us is treated as an amanah (trust). This page explains how confidentiality works, its limits, and where to find urgent help.
Confidentiality
- What you share in sessions stays private between you and your practitioner, and with the small team who arrange your sessions.
- We never refer to a real client, couple or participant in public, even anonymously, without explicit written consent for that specific use.
- Testimonials are only ever used with written consent, using a first name or initials, and you can withdraw them at any time.
- In group programmes, everyone agrees to keep what others share confidential.
The limits of confidentiality
We may need to share information without your consent if we believe you or someone else, especially a child or an adult at risk, is in danger of serious harm, or if the law requires it. Where it is safe and appropriate, we will talk to you first.
Our boundaries
Sincere Naseeha mentoring and content offer guidance and support. They are not a substitute for professional counselling, therapy, medical care or emergency services. Mentoring and spiritual guidance are not therapy. If something comes up that needs professional or medical support, we will tell you honestly and help you find it.
We do not issue religious rulings (fatwas). Questions of Islamic law are referred to qualified scholars. We are not a legal service.
Children and young people
Our tarbiyah sessions are with parents, carers and adults. Where a young person takes part, a parent or carer is present throughout. The Integrated Mentorship Programme is for adults aged 18–40.
